You’re not going to believe this, but my first part-time job as a teenager was typing novels for a romantic fiction author. That experience taught me the importance of telling a good story. Later, I honed these skills as a tour guide, discovering the thrill of having a captivated audience – or was that a captive audience? As a senior executive in government, I not only relished the opportunity to write speeches for ministers, but also to deliver them myself, whether planned or impromptu. Since then I have continued to develop my skills as a speaker and presenter on a broad range of topics.
